They're pretty big in europe I think, especially at the cables. Don't know too much about them either.

I have been on an Empire, nice shape, very similar to a 3DS. They took a year or two off from having US releases.

J-Star is such an under-rated company these days. I ride the J-Star Lidberg and love it. I've ridden pretty much every board on the market and the Lidberg and the Titan are easily in my top 5. Unfortunatly the Titan has been discontinued but the Vanity is similar. They are massive in Europe and Australia and are just making a come back into the U.S. and Canada. Did you order the 08 or 09? The 09 Region is Ike's pro model and has a massive 3-stage set up. Good for a mellow, wake2wake, poppy ride. Takes a bit to get used to but as soon as you have the board dialed you'll be able to get a pretty agressive edge out of it.

I noticed that most of Jstar stuff on BBB says "mixed stock". Anybody know what that means? They look like pretty cool boards and those prices are amazing so I was thinking of grabbing one.

"Mixed Stock" means some boards are blems.
