There are tons of racks for sale for towers, but not too many for sale for pylons. Is there a way to modify a tower rack to fit a 2.5" pylon?

Skylon makes a niced plastic rack for a couple hundred bucks, sometimes you see them used.

If the OD of the tube is 2.5" you could use a pair of monster racks but they will look a little funny with one higher then the other.

Ours and Mako's can mount on a 2-1/2" vertical tube, I think WakeDesigns as well and probably others. But look for pylon racks on eBay if your looking for the best deal.

I had one from a company called fly high. It held four boards. Got it off ebay new for $150 about 2-3 years ago.

check ebay, there is one on there now that will fit up to a 3" pylon, it is a dual rack.

You're such an amazing person, Bill. Who else would come on here and give advice to look on ebay instead of their own product?? Everyone should buy Monster Tower stuff

I've been called a lot of things, can never remember that one.

Actually the best was (note I'm over 40) last year at a skate park. I was in a small half pipe and the comment heard from the big half pipe was "Hey, check out that dinosaur in the junior pipe”. That one hurt!

thanks guys. I'm patiently waiting for one to come on ebay. Need the rack that tilts up vs. the one that goes straight out since the hubby is 6 3 -- and he'll probably be hitting his head.

Try to find someone who is upgrading from a pylon to a tower who is looking to unload their old pylon rack setup, it'll prolly be pretty cheap.
