I'm looking at getting a Billet tower mirror mount. I have seen the boss, and phat budde mounts in pictures, but not in person. Does anybody have one of these and do they work well. Also my classic swoop tower on my MB, is not mounted that far forward of the windshield and I'm not sure if the tower mount will be far enough in front of me to work well. Are there any other mounts that I haven't seen out there? Any thoughts would help.

Where can I buy a tower mirror bracket? I have a Phatt Budde tower and while there is a picture of their mirror bracket on their web site they do not have any pricing information and it's not listed in their accessory section.

Hello,
I have the same tower and I purchased the Boss mount. I was not able to get it to work. I ended up buying the Sampson Sports mount which has an addition adjustment. That mount works great !!

The Mako Tower Mirror Mount is the best one we have seen by far. And we sell quite a few of them! Very sturdy once tightened, and it can adjust to any angle, and fit any tower!

Hey John: I have the Boss It works great. I havent used any of the other mounts and Im sure they work just as well. With somthing like this it would seem to come down to what ever one looked best to you. I like the Boss because they were the first to come out with it.

My concern is where on the tower it would work. Here is a pic of my set up. I'm not sure if I would mount it on the lower brace or the upper part of the tower. I'm don't know if the upper tower mount would be far enough in front of me.

Ooooo I see my friend. Your in a tough spot there I think the mako mount will be the only one the will work at the angles the you need to for that tower.

As I mentioned in my last posting the Boss mirror mount will NOT work with this set up.
From what I can tell the Mako one looks like it might work.Have a look at the Samson Sports as well.

Greg, I'm not doubting what you say. I just don't want to spent $300+ for the mount. I think the samson is sweet looking.

The black ANC light on the top of the Supra towers are just a basic ANC light that you can find at almost any marine dealership or parts store. There are some that are more fancy, but they are more expensive as well. This ANC light is just a simple fold down light made by Attwood.

They are standard on all the Supras and Moombas, so they should be easy to find.

Ryan; Who makes it and where did you order it from?

John, I have the same mirror arm. Rod R on Malibuboatowners.com makes them. His work is awesome and it mounts easily. He makes them to fit several towers.

John, I will get the info for you later tonight or tomorrow. Until then here is another picture of the mirror mount but on a swoop tower. This is not my boat but it is the same tower.
