Just bought a 2010 Toyota Tundra. Any opinions on suspension lifts? I'm looking at the BDS 4.5" or OME 2.5". 35" tires for the BDS or 33" tires for the OME. Don't want to go any higher than those lifts.

I did a pro comp stage 2 6" on mine. With 35x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country M/Ts.

Old Man Emu is a quality lift. You might also want to call National Spring, Deaver, or Alcan Spring and see if they have a "kit" for your truck. They make real engineered springs and may offer a lift kit for your truck. A lot of the lift kits out there are not engineered for performance, but for the easiest, most economically produced kit to get your truck "lifted".

Can't go wrong with Deaver!
Every truck I've owned has been to Deaver Spring, luckily their shop is only 20 minutes from me . First class workmanship and parts, years of experience, a family business that truly know their stuff.

Keep in mind you are sacrificing your warranty if you alter the truck from stock suspension and tires. If you dont care about warranty go for it.

The first one is a BDS 4.5" lift with 35" tires on 20s. And the second one is the OME 2.5" lift with 33" tires on 18s. I would go with 20" wheels either way. Anyone with experience with the BDS lift?

Yeah BDS is good, priced fair everything has a lifetime warranty. It's not top of the line but it is good. I sold a lot of there kits and saw very few warranty issues. There shocks where never that great so I would order there kit without shocks.

The truck is white and I'm going with matte black wheels, the Fuel Gauge or, the same as above, XD Monsters.

I have a BDS 6" lift on my suburban. (profile pic) I love how it looks, BUT.........
If you can, RUN, dont walk from it. After 18 months the shocks were blown with only highway driving.
I bought it because of the supposed lifetime warranty. So I took it into the shop where it was installed and was told that the warranty is on all the parts except the shocks. The mechanic even told me (after the shop manager wasnt there) that he sees alot of BDS shocks blow prematurely.

So I went to another shop and dropped some more money on some rancho 9000xl. Time will tell how long these last, but these shocks have a warranty at least.

Decided on the OME 2.5" lift. Anyone have any suggestions on tires sizes with this lift and truck?

i have a 2010 tundra crewmax platinum. i went w/ the ome lift and 275/60r20 cooper tires wrapped on black 20s. still allows me to park in parking garages, and actually just had the vsc go off last night for the first time taking a corner to fast (had it since last june and have 16k miles on it)... i see that you are in UT. i would be cautious of going w/ a 35" tire. at your altitude they will sap more power from your engine, and make you curse if you do any serious towing on steep grades...

Thanks Worm. Not going with 35's. The guy at the dealer is recommending the 275/60r20. I was thinking of going with 305/55r20. He says they will rub. Can you post a picture of your set-up? It seems a bit hard to find people with a Tundra and an OME lift. What do you think of the OME lift after 16k. The truck has not arrived so I have some time to get things worked-out.

Here's my .02 if you don't want to go with a 6" lift. Just get the 2.5" leveling kit, no blocks in the back in you can run the 34" BFG's with only slight rubbing in the front. If you wanted to save a few bucks for now, you could actually run a 33" in the front with no leveling kit and no rubbing. Here's mine with a 2.5" levling kit from ProComp woth 18" KMC Rockstars wrapped with BFG ATs 305/65/18.

I know you went with a smaller lift, but heres mine on a 6" pro comp lift. 35x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country M/Ts.

No regrets at all. It does rub a bit, but ill be putting larger spacers on next weekend. One thing i didnt think about prior to the lift, was i needed to lower the trailer tongue 6" after i lifted it, but fortunately a 6" tongue is pretty common.
