saving youtube vids...

i saw a clip i wanted to add into a video of mine on youtube... is there anyway to save a video from youtube so i can add it to mine?

yea just copy the url from the embeded code not the url code and paste it into your browser then the video will show up full screen or as big as the browser then go to the adress and right after youtube.com/ it should say p.swf delete just that part and type in get_video and then it should prompt you to save it

I was having trouble doing that too but when i saved it, the video didn't save as a particular file type so do you know how i could change it to play on my HP Pavilion laptop?

I think it saves as some weird kind of file so you have to convert it... I use Dvd video soft or somthin like that and it works just fine
