I saw a white, black and orange Malibu here in Mobile on Saturday. They were going South on Shillingers Rd. I figured I'd post on here to try to find these people. I was wanting to know where they rode.

We ride at Bayou Sarah.... up in Creola/Saraland.

we dont have much of a crew.... the only friend of mine that takes the sport seriously is living in New Zealand right now and wont be back for another month and a half....

What about you? Where do you ride?

I was gonna ask about a yellow mastercraft I saw out saturday on Wolf Bay (Orange Beach). It had flames going down the side. We tried to flag them down and chat but they sorta blew us off.

My ride is leaving first week of June and I'm about to be driving a LONG way for a ride if I can't find one soon.

we ride/live on dog river. dont know if you guys are interested or not, but an old friend of mine that now is a sponsored pro rider in orlando is coming home this week and is going to teach a clinic here. before he went pro he was an instructor at the bonifay ski school for years.

its going to be sometime this week. i think $50 + gas money per person. he can teach beginers to advanced riders. should be fun.

Who is your friend?

was the yellow mastercraft with flames a yellow and blue x2? if so the guys name is chris and lives in gulfport ms. i know a few riders out in the fairhope area that are killing it out on the fish river- w2w 900's etc...

it is a bit of a drive but i can also connect you to a pretty good crew out in the biloxi/gulfport area. i just moved from there to houston but head back to ride whenever i can. i spent 3 years out there struggling to find a ride so i feel your pain!

It could have been an X-2 maybe an '05 but I didn't see much blue on it. It was mainly yellow with huge orange flames.

My regular crew is a little over 2 hours away so if were going to drive as far as gulf port I'd just drive back home. Thanks though. Really hoping to find someone closer to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.

I'm interested to see who your friend is. I usually ride with Chris Skinner... he keeps in touch with all alot the older pro guys... About 2 months ago he was in Orlando riding on Shane Bonifays boat.... I thought that was pretty sweet.

Jessica... get hooked up with those guys at Fish river... should be a long drive for you. I rode with one guy from over there.... last year.... they guy had some nice rotations.

It would probably be about a 30-40 minute drive for you.

tell Nick to get with Chris and come ride a day at the Bayou.... Chris always enjoys people that are on "his level" of riding.... we just sit and watch in amazement...lol

They guy I rode with on Fish river didn't have a boat.... he just would ride behind anything that had a good wake....

Real mature man....
When I say "his level"...... I mean people who dont suck like me and the people on my boat....he doesnt get to ride with people who are actually good that often...

douche

Jessica... I was reading above.... looks like I cant spell.... I had meant to say that it shouldn't be a long drive for you to get to fish river.

Jessica,

I have herd about some people riding in Pensacola, FL. That should be a long drive either. I have no idea who they are, but you could probably find out on WW.

clinic was today. went great. everyone that attended got great advice and a ton of water time. nicks a really good teacher. he rode twice. crazy how effortless he makes wakeboarding look......i guess thats why hes a pro. if we do this again later in the summer, id suggest everyone attending. i learned more from listening to him coach the other riders than i have anywhere else.

Awesome! I'm glad you guys had a good time. I heard you guys had to wait on a boat? What happened? It is amazing how they do make it look effortless... makes me sick sometimes JK

Old     (airwaker)      Join Date: Sep 2007       05-22-2009, 6:45 AM Reply
i normally do the work myself. it had a bad impeller and when i took it to the marina to buy another one i just left if there for them to put back together. then they said water pump was leaking so we bought a new one. then they found a small exhaust leak. i shouldve never messed w/. now im putting a new manifold on and a $20 impeller has turned into $1700....
