Hey guys I've got stock ballast, 400 each in the rear and 450 up front. Anyone know if I can go 750's in the rear? I thought I read somewhere where someone had a problem putting in the 750's. If so what would you guys recommend?

we run 1100 in the front and the 585's in the back. that weight pretty much gives you the nicest wake with 3 to 5 peeps. Any more than that and you have to start riding faster than 22-23....to clean it up. Having said that the wake there will scare the s@%@#$out of you if you hit it right....so for us more than enough. I have heard of 750s in the back ...which would help with wake surfing......but you still need the peeps up front then to balance out or pick up your speed beyond 23.

I hear the 2009 doesnt have room for the 1100 bag upfront.....so I would add one of those bow sacs700Lbs if possible. I know some of the guys here have the 2009 , see what they say. but 750 ea.in the back and only 450 up front imo is not a good setup.

The 21V is already ass heavy. You definently need more weight from the drivers seat forward. If I were you I would look into added lead in the center and towards the bow. It is correct that the 1100 doesnt fit in the 09 boats like it did with the previous topdeck style.

Agreed, putting 750's in the back of that boat with the stock 650 up front wouldn't be the way to go.... Like Brady said, the 21V wants weight from the ski locker forward. I would look to put lead under the center ballast bag to put that more around 1000-1100 lbs and keep the back stock and fine tune with the wakeplate.

I've a 2009 21v and I changed the stocksac for a 750 lbs fatsac, because the boat needs more weight up front. in the back I've the stock 400 lbs sac and on top I've two lpg tanks. to counter the weight in the back I;ve lead bricks in the front. the wake is awesome. nice and firm.

Smitty, Is this the guy with the 21 launch that you were out on, on Sunday? Let me know when you guys go out again, I would love to ride behind the 21 and compare it to my 22. Chad, I have 750's in the back and a 400 in front and I ride at 70 ft. at 22.6 mph and the wake is awesome. I also put another 400 upfront in the bow every once in a while with another pump my buddy let me borrow. I like how it rides.

Smitty Ha ha yeah I know it big enough. Once I got home I tried to empty it and I found out it empties out the bottom. And the front bag was kinked at the drain and I just had to straighten out the bag. Andrew yeah Smitty said he knew ya. Your welcome to come out anytime. I was thinking about tonight but that's not gonna work. Might shoot for Saturday.

Michael man I just saw your wake. Wow. How did you hide 1100 up front? I think the 09's come stock with 450 in the front. There's no way I'd have enough room if I switched out for the 1100.

In the 2005 to 2008 supra 21v it fits under the playpen locker all hidden.....thats the gravity games centre locker bag 1100. Scary thing is the wake can get even bigger with 10 -13 peeps in it but then you have to go over 23mph....

Chad, If you want I have 750's in my boat and I can bring the bags out for yours if you want assuming you have the quick connect setup as I do in my 08. It's really an easy thing to do. I can also bring another 400lb bag and a pump for you if you would like that as well.

Andrew I might take you up on that just to see how it looks. The manual says 1450 ballast so you'd be right on the 650 front, I thought it was 1250. I'll talk to smitty and see if Sunday would work for him.

Hey guys, unfortunately, the bags from the 05-08 Launch 21V doesn't jive with the plumbing on the 09 and up. The hoses and fittings are different sizes.

NAW is correct, but all you need is the simple connections that you just screw on or off. They are cheap and easy to change if they have not been glued on.
