I have an '08 X-Star and was wondering what the bolt pattern is on trailer wheels, is it 5 on 4.5? And also, what is the backspacing on the stock wheels? The wheels I'm looking at are either 17 or 18's, not sure yet, but if I did 17's, what size tire would I need? Thanks for any help!

First you need to make sure your fenders are wide enough to clear the wider wheel and tire. The tires we are using are 225/55R17. Also, make sure the tire can handle the weight.

I used 235 and it fit. Also make sure the centercap of the wheel you choose will fit. I just ordered a really nice set of wheels and when I got them the center cap didnt fit, and didnt look good. I had to have the shop fabricate longer screws to hold the center cap on.
