anyone use other styles of the future fins like , vector, twin on their boards , i have seen pics of james walker with i think the vector style , and would like to know if they ride better than the 20 buck production style fins. is it worth the money if all of your boards use the future boxes

Yes. James prefers the Scimitar 451's. IMO the best futures fins are the more expensive ones. FCS has more fin templates that Futures and some of FCS' cheaper fins are good performing fins, but it seems that you have to shell out some dollars with the futures to get to the best ones.

i never ride the stock fins. i hate everything about them. from flex to drive they just dont feel good under the feet. i love the vector II. even the composite material on all the v II feel good. when you get into the carbon honycomb and epoxy fins they just get top notch.

agree with Johnny -- the Vector IIs are some of my favorites - i ride the 438s from a quad set (as a dual) and love them.

haven't tried the scimitars...
