Yesterday I went wakeboarding and came in hard toeside and made it across the wake and caught and edge and got my balls slapped. I came up wincing in pain and then i went again and it happened again. Is there something I'm doing wrong(handle position, landing position, etc.)?

wear a life jacket upside down like a diaper...you're pals should be protected then

i found that really planting the handle to the lead hip helps a TON! stand up tall when you pop off the wake. try and land edging away from the boat a little.

Does wearing Under Armor compression shorts help at all? I thought it might keep them from slapping quite like they did.

if you're slipping out: handle to your hip, look at shore and stay on edge.

Mitch, would compression shorts work? I don't think my parents would want to buy me a new pair of boardshorts just for that reason.

Compression shorts work. Not as well as the crown jewel but they do work.

Duct tape your boys down. It stings a little coming off, but they'll be safe while you ride.

Go to the hardwarde store and get some foam padding, you know the kind that looks like an egg carton, just cut to fit and wrap them around your boys, if that doesn't work you can always go with the bubble wrap.

grab the speedo - under the board shorts.

Not only does it give the boys a home - you'll get style points.

(This may have latter affects in humiliation/mojo/and pride )..

Worry more about your technique than ball slapping. It happens to everyone, it's part of the game. If you can't get over the fear of slapping your balls, you have a lot more to worry about than not being able to go toeside.

For the record, I've never seen anyone wear anything under their boardshorts and they are anything but rooks.

The feeling of fire, not very pleasant. I wear neoprene shorts under my boardies to help keep everything intact.
