Harold, I would recommend you take it one step at a time. You will probably find that the NVS pretty much make your interior speakers just for background music at low listening levels, the Clarions might work fine. Spend that extra money on a better amp for the NVS's. If you are dead set on replacing them the Infinity's are good (I used the car variant in my old boat), the new Polks, the db Polks, are speakers that I have used with good results. Remember it's as much in the installation as the speaker itself. Make sure they are sealed to the mounting surface. If the path between the front and back of the speaker is short a set of XTC baffles might help (not to mention keeping the elements away from the wiring). Take it one step at a time.
