My question is how to do you put gas in the boat through a hose...my boat is at my dock and i want to leave the gas can on the dock and then fill the boat with a hose.
Thanks

They have attachments for gas cans that have a hose and a hand pump. Check www.northern.com or possibly overtons might have them.

It is called the Wonder Pump...at Overtons...like I said I got it at Lowe's cheaper...works great... Not the fastest but better than picking up 5 gallon tanks.

thx Nick...picking up 5 gallon tanks and having to put about 30gallons in the boat is a pain, using a hose would be much easier!

Yea it works pretty good...depending on how the boat sits compared to the dock...I set up tanks and then let it run...saves time to setup the boat and get things ready to roll...I am sure there are better systems but for $8...was well worth it...I use it on all things that need gas and no spills...

I have a piece of 4" pvc pipe mounted at the boat house on the 6X6 piling with a 3/4 female threaded fitting on the end with 3/4 fuel line to a standard fuel fill nozzle (smaller then the gas station) that kicks off when boat is filled. All I do is remove the cap from top of 4' pvc pipe pour gas from 5 gallon jug into the pvc pipe which is about 24' long probally hold's 2.5 of gas while I pour the gas boat is filling up when handle kicks off away we go when we come back to the dock if there was a little bit of fuel left in pvc pipe we fill the boat with left over.

Nick has the right idea. That syphon will empty a five gallon tank in a minute or two. Best invention of the last century IMO.
