Some buddies and i want to plan a lil trip down that way this summer. any recommendations on where and what to do? we want to tent so we can keep the trip price down. anything would help...thanks guys in advance.

We did a trip to table rock and loved it. Super cheap house rental on the water with a hot tub on the deck. Best setup for boarding all week. We rented the house on vrbo.com.

If you are heading to Lake Ozark and bringing your own boat, go camp at Public Beach #1 (Hwy. 54 to Hwy. 42 Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Hwy 134): http://www.funlake.com/do_see/outdoors/lotosp.php
For other boats to get there is a long journey through "no wake" zone so you typically find some scenic smooth. All that being said, I live on/love Lake Ozark but on weekends during the summer, I head south to less crowded waters if I want to ride. Depending on where you stay, there are countless options of what to do and always a party to be had. Upload

If your going to TRL, and looking for good water, over party seen, stay down towards viola, or Holiday Island. The water is nice all the time.

Montgomery, I lived there for 17 years. My job brought me to FL, for now. I still have my house on Beaver, where the War Eagle and White come together to form Beaver. Best water, and scenery in the whole Mid-West, bar none!!

If you are looking for good water head to northern Missouri and Mark Twain Lake, especially if you are making a trip during the work week. It is a Corp run lake, so there are no houses on there, but plenty of camping. We don't live far from there and go out mainly during the week because most evenings the water is glassy.

HH99, Yeah dude for real I love it around here no matter what the conditions are you can usually always find glass somewhere on Beaver we ride during the week too
