2 questions.

1. Why? You can get crazy loud with just a pair or 2 of wetsounds.

2. I think your tower speakers are going to be under powered. That is a badass zapco, but not enough for THAT MANY high powered speakers.

Hope you have a nice battery bank and high output alt. And friendly ppl on your lake.

That boat owner must be the founder of the more money than brains club. Glad to see some people are still spending money like it's growing on trees. For any one wondering why lakes are enforcing sound ordnance, just look at this guy’s tower. Guess the only up side is that Wet Sounds and Chucktronics will be alive for a while longer.

Really? Cmon now. To each his own and i guess in a way its cool. What is the point other than to prepare yourself for hearing aids and p*** off everyone else on the lake. I know, I know if it's to loud you're to old. I guess I'm to old!

Ok, you win. I didnt' see it was 5 mono block amps. How clean do the Zapco mono's play, are they class D?

And really, everyone assuming he is a and drives around with it blasting is kinda jumping to conclusions. Good chance he is, but still.

Going for a sound competition? Looks a little odd with that many tower speakers... now time to hire a band to play though the concert sound system!

How sturdy can that tower be with all that weight on there? I mean boards and few speakers are one thing but all that stuff is on the top putting more leverage for it to move around.

The guy whos boat it is has more money than sense for sure.

The ownership of tower speakers isn't what gives wakeboarding a bad name, is thinking you need to show them off 24/7 when in reality 99% of other people don't want to hear what you are listening to. ******s(meaning ignorant people) are getting wakeboarding banned. Rant over.

little jealously on here. lol That tower will never support all that. It is a weak tower to begin with. The gel will have cracks all over those tower mounts.

I agree that it looks like the rope will be affected by those speaker mounts on the top. But, I am going to go out on a limb and say that riding is probably not going to be the owners main focus. I guess it is cool if you are into that thing.. I mean being able to get it all in there and look clean, but really not necessary. I can appreciate the fact that it can be done and all but really "WHY"... I guess it is like the guys with the Fountains and other go fast boats where every one of them is trying to out do the other by having a longer or faster boat... But, everyone has their own vises and ways to have fun...

I'd love to hear this thing going off. I'm no fan of the speakers on top and throwing in some Pro 60's is kinda funny with all those 80's up there. The subs look sick and the boxes are pretty damn good looking too.

What's going in the interior speakers wise?

I would say that it looks like an insane party cove system. He may just tie up and supply music for all his strippers! Boat Audio and big systems are now like the old school days or car audio. Some guys it is a hobby for them.

You also have to remember that everyone uses their boats completely different. Some are core riders, some are families, some are wakesurfers, some do a bit of everything, some just drive to cove and party. Who knows.

The whole thing about big systems is respect. I have always had the loudest boat on the lake. But we use it with respect. Rider falls, hit pause. Rider is up. Back on again. Pull into the ramp, music is off. People and families around, music is off. I can tell you I have seen disrespect on both ends. Guys with cheap systems and guys with big systems. But, It always seems like the guy with the cheap system that is all distorted is the one blaring it all the way to the ramp, and while the boat is on the trailer play F this and F that etc.. And guys with big systems, know how much power they have. And don't need to show it off on the ramp or at 5 am.

Like the guy with a Ferrari. He knows he has the best and the fastest. He doesn’t have to go around everywhere peeling out and revving his engine. But the kid in the fast and furious car, revs engine at the light, peels out every chance he gets. Has to try to show off that his car is fast etc…

But it is not really fair to categorizes either. As I know everyone can have disrespect whether they have a system this big or not. But just because they have a big system does not automatically make them “that guy”!!

Tim- Rumor has it my customer just put your kids through college!....lol

Hate- The customer was originally going with just the 80's on bottom, until he looked at WS gallery( therefore this is Tim's fault). He then came in for a change order and went bigger.I am not a fan of speakers above the tower like yourself, but if he's willing to pay for all the machining and bracing to make this possible ,why not.
The interior is going to be done with lighted rings and Wetsounds 650's

pics of batt enclosures before interior resin and lids

2 banks of (6) 6 volts for 1394 ah
the system draws a mean of about 175 amps with spikes to 275amps(anywhere from 5-8 hrs of continuous play at full volume before clipping).

2 batt cap 2000 are located at the amps and distro blocks

Xantrex 40 amp charger with thermal sensors on all three banks

Too Funny!^^^^^^^

I agree that what's on the tower is excessive and not to my taste

The customer approached me and wanted to be the loudest on the water(delta). My over the top design only consisted of having 4 pr. of pro 80's on the under side and nothing on top.Remember my job is to install and customize, and if the customer wants to pay for all the necc. additional bracing for that tower(mounts as well) and more product why would i deny the job to let someone else benefit from that.

I find it humorous that people are judging the system based on the equipment solely on the tower. If the customer would have stuck with 6 or 8 pro 80's(still retarded),there would have been more attention to other details and things that can be learned. Instead, all focus is on the tower, How crazy is 4400 watts to (2) 10" subs ,where's the attention to that?

Never the less, chucktronics is here to support and do a job ,not to judge.

Ultimately the only person that has control of how annoying this boat can be is the owner and not chucktronics,we all know taste in music can ruin anything.

(6) zapco ref 1100.1( 1100 watts per amplifier)
(2) zapco comp 9.0(2200 watts per amplifier)

There are 2 lines of 0 gauge wire from the batteries with 2 batcap 2000's mounted behind the rack shown, and 8 stinger box fans for cooling. There are also inlet fans under the drivers dash directing fresher air into that front compartment from behind the amplifiers.

WOWThat is one heck of a system. It is not my taste but if they make you happy then heck it is your choice. Me I will run-away from the sound while I still have 97% of my hearing left.

One question I do have is with all that weight on tower will it collapse when you inadvertently slam into a couple of killer waves at 25-35mph or what happens if you land up towing will rack withstand that weight on our super smooth highways and US Routes?

Second question is since you have made the tower so top heavy has it affected handling? will the boat rollover? How much weight is on that tower. Forgive me if this has already been answered but who is the tower manufactured by?

now make that X 12...wow.
so I'm guessing it's close to 200 lbs with the brackets and wiring.

In reference to the rope hitting speaker brackets, I dont know how far out you guys cut, but my rope is never in line with my tower, so its probably not a problem. Definately not my style, but my money is that you could knock a rider over with that cranked. Nice clean install job too.

first off let me say this boat is completely real(Sam you're a jackass) and incredibly loud. The bass is ludicrous and sounds nothing like any two 10's i've heard before. The install is super clean and should not be set aside because no one can get passed the tower. I doubt there's an installer that could pull off this system in the short time span and make it sound this badass. My ears still hurt...thanks Ryan
