i dont think its real. the guys body posistion isn't right. You dont flip upsidedown and keep your body strait. Also the rope does not make a strait line it bends by the guys shorts. And the big reason is the guys face. If you know your getting spanked hard like that guy is your not going to be smiling.

there are some incosistencies in the pic, after a second look it doesn't look just natural, but that doesn't mean that it's not, could be completely incindental. The look on that guys face doesn't look casual to me. That is a sweet pic though.

Having a board come close to a mans unit is enough to make anyone say a prayer. Here is Scott Byerly almost taking one to the jewels. Facial expressions tell alot about what someone is thinking. Phew near miss!

I bet it's real. The guy has posted a bunch of pics and that's just one. I could see getting into that position trying a tantrum off a skate. In fact I have several pics of my friends in crazy poses trying tricks like tantrums and raleys. Right Thane?

haha peter that second pic is classic!!
if that pic is fake, i give him serious props. the shadows match up between the rider and the board and the trees in the background. the spray also lines up.

That pic is great. Here is a classic one of my wife... somehow she gets a nose grab on every fall! I mean on a faceplant that I wouldn't have time to close my eyes on - she is able to grab her nose...

I think the pic is real. I cannot see anything in the water, sky, foliage, edges, lighting, shadows, etc. to suggest otherwise. I think the rope bend is probably because that's where the handle attaches to the main rope.

If it is fake, it's a pro level job. If it's a pro level job, it was probably done in Photoshop. There were no tags from Photoshop, Photopaint, PaintShopPro, or any other editor in the file, just the ones from the Nikon camera, so I don't think that it was ever touched with Photoshop.
