Weighting Question

So I ride in an '05 response lxi, and I'm wondering if you guys could give me some weighting tips. Right now I'm just using a 750# in the back, and then relying on the driver and the passengers for some weight up front, but a lot of the time it's just a spotter. I think i need some more weight up front, and was thinking about putting a 440# in the walkway. Is that going to be too much weight up there? I got bored one day and flooded the ski locker in the middle and that helped it out a little I think, but it bilges out after a while. Any tips?

Sweet, and putting it in the walk through should be good, or do I want it further towards the bow? I'm assuming the walkthrough, but i could be wrong. Also, wedge or no wedge? i know this is a lot of preference, but any info on adv/disadv would be great. I'm running it with the wedge right now

If you're running the wedge as well as a 750 in the back you'll probably want to get it up as far as you can in the bow, that sounds like a lot of weight in the back. Shift that front bag around and experiment, you'll get it.

Yeah if you can put it on the front seats if not put it in the walkway and keep the wedge down, the wedge doesn't necessarily put wait directly on the back i believe it pulls the entire boat down but I'd imagine more on the back than the front. Try and get like a fat brick to put on the tip seat of your boat or an integrated bow sac and that would help alot

I just spent 450 bucks on sacks to add to my stock sacks right now. I have 900 pounds of stock spread evenly around the boat an I just got a 750# bow integrated sac for the front and two 400s for the back lockers and the wake is beautiful and solid. So IMO weighting the front and back fairly evenly is the way to go. The wake feels more solid this way then just weighting the back. And weight in the front helps getting up to plane alot easier as well. Good luck
