2002 Tige 20v with about 800# in the left rear locker and TAPS at 8, usually 10mph. The best part is that it's so easy to ride and a lot of fun.

OK bill, how much did you pay JONb to go off on the hugeness of your wake?

is there a trick to getting pics small enough to fit this site, without making them the size of a stamp
Old     (sdboardr99)      Join Date: Aug 2001       02-19-2004, 4:40 PM Reply
Sure, just save them as a jpeg with medium quality (depending on the program it could be a gpeg quality of 5 or 50, or just medium).

Gregg you can see the size for yourself...when you come down to SoCal. And it's bigger than it looks in the pics of course.

I dunno, mine looks PRETTY BIG...from the right angle...here's one of Beth again...

This time we shot from a slightly lower angle.
Notice the Alan Bogdanoff "Stealth" board?
It almost looks like you could ride your local break on that board...

How do you have your VLX weighted? The wave looks good.

That Tsunami wake is HUGE, although I can't believe someone would surf behind an I/O. That sounds dangerous as hell to me.

balistic -

The wave is great. We worked on height and length. This wave gave a lot of room for fun.

600 lbs of water in locker.
400 lbs of lead under the rear seat.
350 lbs in MLS center sack.
two passengers on side.

Bill J,
How is your wake on the other side in that Tige? I am in the market for a boat and believe it or not, I am more concerned about the wake surf wake than anything else. I am so addicted. I am goofy so I like riding the other wake. Please let me know.

Small trick boards are for whimps? Why do all the pros ride them?
Old    surfdad            10-29-2004, 2:52 PM Reply
Relax CAskimmer, there was an emoticon after my statement. Not all of the pros ride skimboards, Heath Braddock for one, competes against the skimmers on his surftech. Jamie Lovett, the current men's open WWSC absolutely rips on a shortboard. I certainly don't mean to take anything away from the likes of Lovett or Bryan, their skills are incredible.

Jeff-I'm sorry, I was having a bad day (probably shouldn't have been on the boards) and took offense as I know most of those guys personally (that and I ride a skimboard myself obviously)
