Cased a doubleup wake on the way down PERFECTLY... or rather not so perfectly (would have been perfect going up) and it felt like my legs and the bones inside were a giant tuning fork

happened last friday. Strangely enough i felt fine after a little rest and i have no pain at all in my knees or legs. i think i am lucky. the initial feeling and shock Sccared me bad. I saw it coming and bent my knees alot... probably should have bailed completely though.

it was a friend's boat: X-2, factory ballast loaded and a full load of peeps too... not slamming, but definately the WORST CASE OF MY LIFE!

everyone in the boat was also surprised i was ok as i was due to the looks and sound of the board hitting that peaky wake

Gota say it...Thank you "Future Responce Technology."

anyone else have some CASE THE WAKE STORIES

You get to a point when you know that is going to happen and there is not reason to even try and ride it out. Just let go, take the hit and fall into the water. I try and skip out to avoid a really sore next couple days.

Yeah really I pretty much know when I am about to case the hell out of the Dub wake. Although unlike Stephan I like to hold the handle and yank it hard so to try and get over most of the roller.

On the flip side, while spinning a few times off the dub I have cased and had my knee to my chin, once to my cheek bone. It suck especially when you dont see it coming.

try going for the second roller on the double up. i have a problem casing the wake if i go for the third one because how steep they are.

Yea, I normally go for the third all the time just so i can get booted. but it usually takes a while to tell people how to drive em right and i am hitting all sorts of rollers till a good one comes.
i got one friend last year who was driving them better than probably i could... since i am the only one really hitting them in my slim group of wake buddies (never get practice driving them myself with a rider really)
