After a fantastic week at Westcoast Wakeboard Camp my son shot this video of Mike Schwenne riding behind the new 2012 24 MB Tomcat. 21 people in the boat, 6.0L engine, 3/4 ballast, 25 MPH. Just thought I would share the video, and Mike is always fun to watch... I am no wake expert, but looks pretty impressive to me... very clean. Heard nothing but positive feedback from all of his coaching staff on the wake of the 24 Tomcat.

If anyone is interested in sending there kid(s) off to a fantastic wakeboard camp, WestCoast Camps delivered! My two boys are 9 and 18 and both of them had nothing but great things to say about the camp. They improved there riding skills, developed some awesome core fundamentals, had a blast with Mike Schwenne and his fantastic Coaching staff. A week of non-stop fun and learning.... not one negative comment from both of them, just fun stories and a LOT of wakeboarding!

Got to take a peek at it at the dock, its a monster of a boat, really like the new progressive tower, felt very strong and well built. The had 16 students and 5 coaches in the boat. The coaches made a comment it was the biggest wake any of them had ridden behind, they were having to adjust there speed and line lengths to get used to the pop.

Mike is a top notch guy, its really nice to see someone in the wakeboarding world be such a positive roll model for kids with great values. Not only was Mike a pro for 8 years, 2 year national champion, but achieved a Master Degree from UC Santa Cruz, has a succesful property management business, and a wakeboard camp that is celebrating its 10th year. I was so pleased there was no drugs, bad language/music, drinking or alcohol allowed on any of the trip.... just a lot of high fives, encouragement, laughing and having a great time together! awesome experience for my kids.

Thanks for sharing that. My son will be there in two weeks. His third trip. I cant say how good this camp is. The coaches are the best, Mike and Monica are the best. The boats are the best of course. There is a new 21 being built right now for them that is insane. Its a another Caddy style.

There were kids from all over the states there, Arizona, Wyoming, So. Cal, Sacramento, etc... hope you can make it happen for them, they will have a blast and learn a bunch... you basically get a seasons of wakeboarding in 5 days. They were riding 60-80 minutes a day.... (3 sets). I will also be attending with my youngest next year, nothing like signing up for a week of punishment! My 18 year old plays college rugby and he was brutally sore some days....

That 24' MB is a monster, fitting 21 people is crazy, please post up some pics when you take delivery!

Having a 9 year old and 18 year old attend was good to get a different perspective from both of them.... My youngest son is already talking about attending next year, he did recieve his patches for all his rail grabs and wake to wake.... my 18 year old also achieved his patches, no inverts but definitely talked about the fundamentals they teach you to safely progress. Both were disappointed to leave, definitely will be one of the highlights of there summer...
