we do 95% of our days on the delta, but when my sisters come out they want to bring the kids and go to a "real lake", so we usually do Berryessa. We generally launch from Markley Cove, I haven't even checked out any of the other marinas. Anybody point me in the right direction? Ideally would like to find some part of the lake that at least has some "decent" water for boarding...

Well if you want good water you might want to be launching in the morning. on the week ends after 10-10:30 am it starts getting choppy. The power turn drivers show up, tubers, jet skis need i say more. We usaully get to markley around 8am and ride until 10 am hang out all day and ride in the evening.

Putah Creek, but you still have to get out early on weekends.

Get out early and you can get glass at a few spots. During the off season I ride all over the middle of the lake in butter very often, but in the summer I usually ride over near pleasure cove or Markley.

You can always find butta in the 5mph zone under the bridge

Nice, thanks guys. I don't know how likely it is that i'll get us out there early, but maybe I can get the family to stay out a little nicer until the water calms down...
