I am considering buying a Monkey Bar tower for my 18 foot Glastron. I don't know anyone who has used one. I am looking for comment from anyone who has experience with one. A full tower would be a bit much for my boat, and they are about three times as expensive.

I have a monkey bar on my boat. It works great I did not like the board racks they sell for them. I bought some racks they look much better. I dont think you can go wrong with the bar. The nice thing you dont loose any room in the boat with the monkey bar. I have sold my boat this week with the monkey bar on it but kept the board racks if interested let me know. I bought a 2004 sanger V210 wake.

I had concerns about the lack of support in the forward direction. Apparently it's not really a problem. I don't think the cable would be in the way THAT much. So the main problem I see with it is that you can't fold it down while it's still connected to the boat. You basically undo some pins and have a big u-shaped tube to deal with.

If it's not too much more, I'd go with one of the mini-towers like the Monster Tower, the Joystick, the Skyjac, or the Boss mini tower (they should still be able to sell that one without infringing on CC's patent).

Of course, if you never have to fold it down, that won't matter for you.

Scott, Thanks for the info. I think this is what I need for my boat, the extra room is most important. Let me know what you want for your racks. You can E mail me at steffins496@yahoo.com T.

Salmon Tacos, I will check the prices on those smaller towers, Thanks, T.

Tony,

Here is where you can check the towers out:

www.joystickpylons.com
www.monstertower.com
www.bosswake.com or www.wakeside.com for Boss

Also, here is a link for every tower company the World Wakeboard Council has listed as a link.
