i just started surfing a few days ago, we used my friends X-10 and the wake was nice. but yesterday took us an hour to get a decent wake out of my mobius LSV.

so far the best is Center Locker full 500lbs, Left Rear Full 350lbs, right locker empty, and the wake plate just above halfway.

w/ that set-up i was able to surf, but i was close as hell to the swim platform, running into it all the time.

should i add another 350lbs to the left side using my other sac? how can i make it better?

well, changed a couple things, got alot better wake, i put 500lbs in center, 350lbs in the rear passenger side, and then took the other fat sac and put it long ways on the seat (back to front) and filled that to 350lbs, put wakeplate up to 75% and it was pretty damn nice. once i get a spotter i will have additional weight on that side too!

it should curl a little better with the wakeplate all the way up and allow you to go a bit faster as well.

i dont know, i think with the plate all the way up it curls over too much, and splashs the crap out of you while riding (throwing your board around).

i will give it a try though and see

Here's my setup

600 back left
Right empty
Center empty
two 250's on the back left seat

wake plate half way

Wake is definitely awesome, but i'm curious if anyone has any input on how to make the meat of the wave longer.

I included a pic

Much Thanks

The more wait you have in the front of the boat the longer the wake will be. But if you dont have enough in the back the flatter the wake will get. Pretty much the way i wait my vlx is the left side is a couple inches out of the water, front to back.
