Hey, where is the best place to put the whole to run speaker wires? I was thinking that in the middle of the mount would be good (2x4 mount), but then I thought that just to the side of the mount would be ok. The only problem with beside the mount is that I thought it could possibly cause stress cracks or even fiberglass cracking. Anyone have any tips thanks

Can you post a pic of the mount?

As long as you can go 1" away or more from the base you should be fine (drill 1/2 hole diameter PLUS 1" from the mount). Also if your tower folds down take this into consideration so the wire "collapses" when you lay the tower down. If you need a connector for quick disconnect go to Radio Shack or us an "Amp" connector.
