I know some people used to use shaving cream back in the day or Enviromentally safe shampoo. I remember when I was down at OWC I swore they said they made the stuff themselves. Anything else work well and wash out? My buddy needs it to get in his boots as they are a bit tight for him to get on.

Shaving cream is the best thing on the planet for boots!

I'm rocking the CWB boots with the hinge. no lube needed when you're working with a big hole.

J-Rod - Wow!

Dave - Try some binding lube from an online or local shop. It isn't as common anymore but you can still get it. It is safe for the environment and works better than shaving cream.

Hands up if you took this the right way.
New boots is the way to go. If for no other reason than the ease of entry. But performance, sizing, and comfort are off the charts.
