Pffff, we beat that way back in the day. I bought a spool of 750 feet just for that purpose a while ago, we never got around to it. It was pretty interesting back there, so quiet, no boat noise at all. We had a bunch of stretchy ropes tied together, so when you got up, you immediately sat back down, then up, then down, took about 10 times before it stretched out. The rope came out of the water right in front of your feat. Crystal clear, the weeds were standing back up, we almost had a boat go between the rider and the boat at one point.

Going W2W would be like 200'. Awesome. I tried 300' once on a tournament slalom ski and the stretchiness was a bit much but it was cool how there was no wake at all and very quiet. On something like a Big Kahuna or a wakeboard it might be fun for some sort of marathon run on a river.

That's funny we just did this on Sunday! My buddie was so far out I could not stop laughing. It's funny how they end the video, my buddie trying a FS 3 and got OWNED. He laid in the water for ever and ended up having a concussion and could not stop throwing up. I guess you ride the 300 you have to pay a price. I did 100' W2W at 26 MPH this weekend and was good with that.
