I am going to be taking my boat to Tahoe for the weekend of the 4th (Never taken my boat there). While I expect we will be able to do little or no decent riding I wanted to see if there are any warnings about the lake I should watch out for. Not including the crazy people which I would already expect.
I am looking for water hazards to the boat. Are there any spots I should stay away from due to lake depth? I am a little nervous about hitting rocks near the shore. Most of my friends up there boat often and probably can guide me safely, but I'd love to get any scoop I can. Thanks.

Hey Mike
where will you be launching from? South or north shore? it will really depends part of the lake you will be on.

Mike, just talk to Pete Gissel and he can give you ALL the information you need. The only area I know to be concerned with is around the Kings Beach launch ramp, I've heard a few people hitting the rocks around there. It's tough to gauge how far they reach up, so be careful in that area.

Cool, thanks Leslie and Elisa. I will be spending most of my time on the North/West Shore.
