I'm just kinda bored sitting here looking out the window at the awesome weather.

A few weeks ago I had to razor blade my ultra sucs cause I couldnt get them off.

Anyone else ever had to do that? Or anything just wrong to your equipment or boat?

My story started with an attempted hugified backroll.

Some how I ended up with my left foot shoved through the binding with my ankle truly jacked up and in a position it was not intended for.

I was able to get my right foot out wich helped with the pain a bit but after about 10 minutes I realized the left foot wasn't coming out.

I had a razor knife in the glove box and used it to cut the left boot of the only bindings I have ever owned. 2001 LF ultras. I loved those things.

All is well though I found a smokin deal on some '05 ultras that match my new marek!

What happened to ya'll this summer?

Not myself personally, but two nights ago, my buddy put 2/3 of his foot through the front of some 04 Hyperlite Highbacks (The Orange Ones). That was pretty nasty... we had to take those suckers apart before his foot turned a darker shade of purple... lol

Sorry to hear about that Chris. I havn't had that happen but I am glad I just replaced my Ultras now. If you want another pair of backups I now have a pair of '05's i'll give to you if you want them. They are in decent shape I was just in need of an upgrade.

had to tow in an x-star full of douchebags and bimbos cuz they were "out of gas"..turns out Mastercraft has a lil safety switch, like a kill switch i guess, which they forgot to flip on and the boat had plenty of gas...huge waste of time and money. Our 22v had about 3000# in it, so it was a pretty slow tug.

The last time I rode my HL 360's I fubared a switch backroll attempt and both my feet were half out of the binding. My left foot/ankle took the worst and I couldn't board for 3 months. Wakeskated after 1 month. I won't wear anything that doesn't come off in a hard crash.

The switch is the kill switch that every boat has. What idiots. How long did you tow them?

We've had Tiges and Mastercrafts in the past, and have never seen a kill switch anywhere...so I guess I was just as surprised...we towed them for about 45 minutes at about 5mph...

No need to cut off the 12 V plug, just wad up some aluminum foil in the shape of a fuse and you're all good!
