I'm looking for a transom remote for my JBL unit. Just wondering where everyone has purchased their transom remotes from. Thanks

Does JBL even make a transom remote?

i think you're going to be out of luck finding a hard-wired remote for a jbl, but i'm currently looking into one of these for my kenwood head unit:

in my case, i don't want to give up the aux/cd changer input port on my head unit which would be required to use the kenwood branded product so this looks to be my only option.

the only way this works is that if your current unit has an infrared wireless remote and that it operates within the specified frequency range.

there is another JBL remote I have seen on larger Chaperall boats, it is kind of square with many functions. Cannot remember if it had LCD or not.
