I currently have gotten back into wake boarding, I have an old hyperlite, board with the old style ski type bindings. They aren't very comfortable any more. I"m looking to upgrade to a nice board binding set up. I would say I'm in the middle intermediate rider. I can get up and carve etc fine. looking for a decent new set up that will help with bigger pop and softer landings. I'm 5 10 173lbs.

hey whats up....im 5-11, 155 and i just bought hyperlite STATE 140. I love Hyperlite!!!! Try www.evogear.com They have a 145 w/bindings for $315 free shipping. They have a great description of the package. Also the STATE has a special fin configuration to help w the toeside cut. Murray develop the concept. Ebay is also a great place for new stuff. Oh yeh that package on evo is a blemished board. So was mine and i couldnt find anything wrong.

just buy some 08 or 09 gear you can get good deals on that stuff. as far as a 145 that sounds too big for you IMO. Id go 139-142 range. any board and boots will blow you away coming from what your riding

Go with the 140. And the laces vs. velcro is just a personal preference. A lot of companies are moving some of their boots to velcro. It's easier to get in and out of.

no neither one stays tighter better in the water laces vs Velcro?

I think the kink is the same for 09-10?
