Ok, so I know nothing about wake boards. My kids age 6 and 8 enjoy knee boarding and waterskiing but haven't tried a wake board. I am looking to buy a used wake board but have no clue what to look for. Can anyone give me some recommendations of what to look for. The board would be for them only. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Look for Double-Up Grommets.
They come in 125cm & 130cm sizes for kids.

I just bought this for my nephews that are the same age. You can't beat the price. That away you don't break the bank on something they may not enjoy yet.

Depends on how much you want to spend as well,

Here are two good set-ups that really are not that expensive if you plan on taking them out regularly.
1)Hyperlite Motive 119 with mini squirts, this is the first set up that I put my boy on and he loved it. This board is for the little guys 5 to about 8 or 9.
2) The next board is the Liquid Force Nemesis 124 with the Micro Series bindings. This board will give them a little more room to grow because it is a little bigger. I would recommend the second of the two, my boy just turned 7 and is now on this board. He will probably be on this one for at least 3 more years if not longer for progression.

Good luck and have fun with them, they will dig it.

My son’s 5 and he rides a Hyperlite motive 119 with mini spin bindings. A friend of ours that rides with us has a 12yr old with a larger board that leaves his at home when he’s with us. He likes the 119 over his larger 124. I’m thinking that 119 might be around for a while…

Hyperlite sells a package deal that comes with board, bindings, rope & handle and instructional video.

I am a dealer for both the Grommets and the Renegade. If interested, please e-mail me.
