I know, but these are what my choices got narrowed down to. It's slim pickens in southwest VA when it comes to board shops, so I can only test what they sell. What do you guys recommend?

GnP is like minutes from me....at least the short pump and carytown locations are....Scott is great...if you go there ask for Kara Austin....she will point you in the right direction. I would reccomend the 06 Lotus from CWB. GnP sells CWB and so does Gramps Boardshop up on Lake Anna. Gramps Boardshop really works with you on your needs and go out of their way to help you. Gramps is CWB exclusive.

give the Cadence a try. It's a proven shape.

Thanx guys for all of the suggestions, but can you guys reccomend something that's not CWB. Maybe LF, Hyperlite, or O'Brien. My crappy gear that I have now is from CWB and I want a board that's made for women and that kicks butt. Got any more suggestions???

Oooh ouch. Shame on you for buying crappy gear & shame on you for blaming CWB. CWB has three shapes this year designed for women. Just like the other companies they are proven shapes that are given a graphic treatment for the ladies. The CWBs however do not make a softer flex pattern like the other companies, they know that girls wanna go big too so they make it hit like a regular board. CWB also has three boots specific for the ladies, a low, middle & super high end. CWB makes some of the sickest boards out there, give them a little credit.

I have one suggestion, since there are only say a dozen(estimate) female boards on the market go to the local shop(G&P kicks ass) and try them all out, it will not take very long to try them all, 3-4 weekends.

Emily - I am in the market for a board too and I really like the Cadence from CWB as well as the LF Angel and the Syn and Divine from Hyperlite. I've heard good things about all of those boards. Let me know what you end up with.

the Cadence isn't from CWB. It's Liquid Force.

My girlfriend rode the CWB Absolute Platinum this year with CWB Zeus bindings and she loved it. Here's a pic:

OK. I'm small. Like 5' 115lbs(give or take) small. Do these boards that 'yall've suggested have smaller versions?
