On the DVD - Young Guns II just before his segment in Indo he's surfing behind the huge ship they are staying on. He's amazing even in that small wake behind the boat. If you enjoy surfing vid's this is a must have.

Have you seen "Step Into Liquid"? In one section, these guys wakesurf behind huge cargo ships, pretty cool...

Hey David, I haven't seen that yet. We have some friends that tow in behind tugboats. They describe the wakes as 5 foot high with a pocket that is 30-40 foot long. Time for a new boat? :-)

tug boat wakes dont break trust me i lived on 1 until i was 7.

i am form the galveston area and we hit the super tankers that come into the channle going to the ports. wanna talk about wake/wave, espesially when it roll over an oyster reef that is like 1ft below the board. head high and rolls forever

Where at in Galveston? i go down there every three weeks or so and have not seen any real spots other than by a few of the piers.

chris H you guys got to film that and post some pics or vid the next time you ride these tank waves!
