What is the best board for 225lb person who wants to surf. Thanks

3 come to mind. The inland surfer blue lake is a good board for that weight. Also the composite x 5.0 from The Walker Project. A smed wombat would be good, but at 5ft, not 4'6".

You should check out the 5'0" surf style from Triple X surf and skim or their 54 or 58 composite skims. I have a couple buddies that ride with me and they like the 54 and 58 skims

Nikki At least give accurate information. Neither skim board is listed for a weight of 225. 180 and 200 max per the website. 5' should prolly work

Shred Stixx JaMako is good for bigger riders. Also the SS Fish Stix. That is a HUGE board, but great for big beginners.
