Perfect Pass Problems

I'm having problems with my perfect pass. It's no longer working and getting hot. The knob on the back that the manual said should turn easily does not turn easily. It worked until 2 times ago when I fixed my speakers, not sure if that had any impact. Any fixes, suggestions?

What is getting hot, the servo with the knob on it in the engine compartment? If so that probably means the servo is bad.
That would be my initial guess.

My 2001 X Star did the same thing. Sounds like your servo has locked up. Log onto perfectpass.com or even better call them at (902) 468-2150 and order a new servo. I paid around $100 for mine about two years ago and changed it myself.

Never turn it off while the boat is in gear and Never while riding, it will go Bonkers. You have to have the boat off and then re-tension the knob and make sure its wound the proper direction.
