Power Wedge...worth it?

hey guys, looking at buying a new malibu. had them before and love the wedge.

cant decide if the benefits of the power wedge are worth the extra money? besides the hassle of having to open that little hatch and pull it down, does the power wedge have a great deal of benefit? or is it mostly for show?

well you can set it at different levels and adjust the wake on the fly, that's kind of nice. I don't use the wedge, got it mostly for surf and resale

We tested out the Power wedge behind Dave's boat at the spring ride, It seemed that it still worked best all the way down. The on the fly thing I don't think is the selling point, the selling point is when we were done all he did was press a button and the wedge came right up. I'll tell you this when I get my VLX I will be getting a power wedge. You might ask dave what he thinks, he might have played with it more since then.

I liked it when i did my demo...but i dont know that i will get it for an extra 2k

Definitely worth it in my opinion. Especially if you have many riders that like it and dislike it. It beats going back there and changing it for each person.
