Boss vs. Bazooka tower speakers

If you had a choice which brand speakers to go with for your tower which would you get and why
Boss or Bazookas?

Just based on my experience, I would go with the Boss. I purchased a set of the Bazooka speakers and a have had problems with them. The sound is good (when they work) but I think the crossover or the voice coil has gone out. I had the speaker replaced after I first got it, worked fine, Two trips later the tweeter only works. Not sure of the problem, Any thoughts?

I agree, go with the Boss speakers. They are a little bit pricey but well worth the extra money plus they look as good as they sound. I have had them on both of my boats and can't complain. I have 6 of them on my tower now.

whats a good model i could get im puting four of tubbies on my tower but already have like 300 bucks tied up in the amp and wireing what would you recomend for what i should do?

justin i am selling my 530's on ebay now. the bid is at 400 now. they have a retail of 1125. you can probably score these pretty cheap. check the classified section for the link.

Justin- I am running a set of B-653's and a set of B-62's on my tower with a 800 watt Orion amp powering them all. They sound awesome either in the boat or out behind the boat riding. You can look at all of their speakers at bosswake.com to see what you might be interested in.

someone said i should get the boss riot amp 100 watt 4 chanel and 4 tubbies of bazooka mt8002b he said they would sound awsome with that will the speakers your sugjesting sound better?
and could i use that boss riot amp cuz its realy cheep and he said he hasnt had problems

Justin- I don't have any experience with the bazooka speakers so I can't say how they will sound. I do know what the Boss speakers sound like and they are clean and loud. It is all going to depend on how much $$$$ you want to spend. I would put something to them with at least 300 to 400 watts though no matter what you end up getting speaker wise.

Justin you will need no less then 400 watts rms going to tower speakers if you want to hear them while riding, ive got 450 now and am going up to 800

Bob- I have 800 going to my tower now, you are going to love the move to 800. I went from 300 to 800 and it is well worth the money.
