1boarder - marry someone who makes a lot more then you, then do something you want. My wife enjoys the boat and wake boarding - she "sponsors" most of our trips, boards etc.

"If anyone makes a lot of money without stress and long hours I would like to know"

What's alot of money? I get half day fridays and have very little stress in my job. I don't make $250k/year, but I do well enough.

IMO, the company you work for has alot to do with your stress level.

Also , the amout of $$ you deal with. I'm in a postion to were I don't really waste my time on agreements less than $5MM. The downside is my job distorts my view of money. At work, $50-100k is not that much money.

but also do side jobs in networking, landscaping, graphic design, web design, web development, flash development, and anything else I can do to make a couple extra dollars to survive..

I don't own a boat... nor have I ever.. but I love everything about boating and wake-boarding. So, i just sit on the sidelines and watch till my day comes.. haha

I too had to let my first home go (i got it at age 22, and am now 25) so I have no chance of getting approved for a boat loan *sigh*

Trevor Gleadhill (trevorg7) why do you find it so hard to believe that someone would work for Cisco in Arkansas?

not everything happens in california ya know.

there is a "small" company right outside Rogers Arkansas that takes in more money per year than every other company on this thread combined!

TJ - Relax pal.

I too work for Cisco and was wondering what divisions are located in AR or if he works remote. Cisco is a global company therefore I am never surprised by where people work.

Clearly I don't find it hard to believe.

I would recommend, TJ, that you can focus on things you can control or influence and not worry about reading tone into others posts.

Tried being a gigolo. Never made a dime. Go figure.

Alcohol tester for many years now and doing quite well at it. Does not pay anything though.

Retired cop (medical retirement after 17 years). Still pays me pretty well.

Run my own mobile detailing company. Work is really slow but OK with me. Hard work, and I'm old

Done security management off and on over the past few years too.

Future lotto winner (fingers crossed)

Not sure what I want to do when I grow up.

Yes Idaho and it is beautiful there. The rental properties is more of a tax write off then an income...they suck $$ more that make money, but in the long run they will help with retirement.
