If our x-45 is bone dry it is $400 to fill it up. We usually keep it right at a half of a tank. Burns faster anything over that. We put $100 for the weekend and then another $50 for the week to ride.

Also, is everyone using premium? I know my owners manual says to use 93 octane. I always use premium in mine at $4.29 a gallon it's about $150.. A couple of my buddies that have the same engine in their boat never us premium gas.

I use regular and add a fuel additive. Suppodedly it creates the same effect and saves on fillups. '03 sanger v230 it costs about 160 to fill up. that will last at least the weekend though.

about $ 5,500.00!!! but we are talking about our houseboat which holds approx. 1,100 gallons. the supra im thinkin close to $ 250.00..... the 1,100 gallons should last about 12-14 days which includes filling the supra and a couple of sea-doos.....

$50 to fill up from half a tank used for riding on for about 5 hours. Only running a few hundred over stock triple with gas prices so high. $4.31 for 87, and thats on base where they say they pay all the teaxes, yeah right!

05 Sanger V215

Last month at Pedro gas was $6.00 a gallon. Thats when it was $4 a gallon at the pumps. I was there last weekend but filled up in town. Gas is $4.50 at the stations now so I imagine its 6.50- 7.00 now on the water. Multiply 30 gallons for a full day times the weekend= about $400 at 6.50. Wow I shouldnt have just done the math its easier just paying tank by tank. I'll fill up before launching this summer. It seems the campgrounds at the lake arent as full as last year. Any one else seeing that?

The good thing about the prices is that tubers wont be able to afford to tear up the water as much. The high prices should keep the lakes a little more traffic free. I say raise it to 7.00 a gal.

Vride is $115 to fill in Idaho, and about $125 in WA.

We're about a mile from the stateline so we plan our outings to anywhere based on whether or not we need to gas anything up.

Being about an hour away from the water is starting to really hurt the wallet...
Having to fill up the truck and boat is almost like making a mortgage payment!

Is it just me, but we are seeing maybe 1/4 of the boats on the river that we have seen in the past?

If I'm bone dry I'm looking at $180 in my 08VLX. The most I've put in at a time has been about 100 so far this year. Steapest I've paid is about $3.89. Never fill up at the Marina though.

My 08 SANTE 210 usually runs about $70 for an afternoon set, which runs from about 430-5 PM til dark. About $20-$22/hr when pulling.

Filled up my buddies' 23' LSV at the yacht club marina last fall. There happened to be a guy there working on the pump, and talking on the cell phone at the same time.
Smitty ran his card & then told us to just pump it, don't tell me how much it's gonna cost me. About 1/2 a tank & I look at the pump.... the gallons are flying by, but the dollars are barely moving. Rather than say anything I just let it go. The pump clicks off when he gets to like 58 gallons. I grabbed the receipt & we bugged out of there.

As soon as we got out of ear shot of the pump & the guy working on it, I pulled the receipt out of my pocket & showed it to Smitty....... $2.18.

whoa bill... im tryin that this week. maybe tomorow or weds. usually we fill up at union point cuz they are keeping the gas a 4.79 right now, which is only bout 10 cents higher than the street pumps. everywhere else on the delta that i have been is over 5 bucks.

yesterday we put 100 in my buddies 23 lsv and it was just under half tank. got us to just over 3/4

We put $120 in our Supra 21v with the fuel gauge sitting on E. We were told to use 87 to help eliminate vapor locking as 89 & 93 burn hotter. We also fill up on the way to the lake. Gas on the lake gas is more per gallon.

The first thing I thought when that guy ripped off the gas station was 'what a dirtbag, who would brag about that'. I hate high gas prices, but screwing over a local company and bragging about it messed up.

I'm not entirely sure how big our tank is since I've never filled it before, but apparently it is 100 litres (25 gallons or so) at today's price for 91 that is a nudge over $NZ200... Ouch. Good thing she uses about a quarter to a half tank per day. We can only ride about 3 or 4 hours at a time since where we ride is tidal.
Old     (deltaboy)      Join Date: Jan 2007       06-26-2008, 8:59 PM Reply
If we had to do it, it would be at 320 for 67 gallons at 4.80 (regular). Boy that'll blow when that day comes.
