It's my first season behind the new boat. I'm finding that I'm bailing on really basic straight airs, the same way each time. I pop off the wake, and feel like I'm floating sideways until eventually slam on my back.

I'm thinking maybe too much weight on my back foot? or not tall enough at the wake???

THanks in advance

It's what your doing with the handle. Your takeoff and edge look good to me. Not textbook perfect but you at least know what you are supposed to do and you will get there as you keep practicing. On takeoff you have the handle right down by your lead hip where it is supposed to be and then mid air you freak out and either lift the handle up or let go with one hand. Hold you takeoff positioning with the handle by your lead hip/weener until you land.
