instead of the tow rope being up high on a tower, the one on my boat is down ow near the swim platform. will this make a difference when i start jumping ect.

This will hurt all aspects of your riding. You can still ride and have fun behind just about anything. Now if your talking learning inverts and spins it will still be possible just a whole lot harder.

probably not too detrimental. you can still get all your basics down, progressive edge, jumping(with height), etc. youll also be able to learn inverts and spins as well.

you most definitely will still be able to learn to go wake to wake, a few inverts, and a few spins.

yeah, at first it won't make much of a difference, and it will help you appreciate a tower once you can ride behind one. I learned all the basics, including a back roll and tantrum behind the back of an I/O.

Your boat will get anything everything you want to do, done. You will want to go on a bit shorter rope than what you hear or see others doing behind towered v-drive boats, maybe 50-60ft. Wakeboarding isn't about the boat, it's about the ride.

All the pros back in the day used to ride w/ no tower. I'd love to ride that well!!

I had a guy come out when I was first learning, and he did a tantrum behind a river racer...
