what sounds better 2 12in subs or 1 15in sub?

i would think it depends on many things. like what kind/amp powering them. also where they are placed would make a difference. but my guess would be 2 12's

i have rockford fosgate 1500 x 1bd amp i dont know where to place them for the best sound the subs i have are kicker 12in cvr any

2 high excursion 12"s are pretty deadly combination and would take a single 15" (i don't think there is a high excursion sub that size).

a lot depends on the installation, amp etc...
