Just learned from the video that my stance is apparently too wide. And that i need to point my toes in the same direction...

Ya, those wakes are mini and the stances are so narrow! I bet it was a great time to be a wakeboarder though.

but they were still pulling some decent tricks. I bet they weren't worried about how much "pop" a board has.

Those guys riding never have and never will worry about how much "pop" a board has. Darrin Shapiro speed ball, Shaun Murray stupid huge blind judge never had anything to do with the board.

So funny how small the wakes are..

not so funny how they get more air than I do on a regular boat..

"bring the tip up to lose speed fast"
there is a big change there.
wakeboarders needed brakes back then?
i bet longer rope lengths and bigger rockers helped with this problem of getting too much slack from jumping too far with too much momentum

I was so stoked with that board after having a flight 69 which wasn't a true twin.
It was exciting times and full of stoke back then. "us" vs the skiers...........

Stretch ropes helped the slingshot effect into the flats too
