If you wanna go the cheap route, this is what I used (Aqua Signal). Just kept it in the glove box and stuck it to the tow spool when I needed it. I also tied a small rope to it and looped it over the spool as a safety measure, if it ever came loose. It did come loose a couple of times, going over waves, but stayed put 95% of the time.
