friggin pissed off

so the last three wakeboard magazines in a row have shown up in my mail box destroyed. also, they all came in the last three days. yea, they were late...which also pisses me off. all the pages are either bent or torn. i would email/write the mag and complain, but there is nothing they can do. its not like they send them out all shredded. i dunno, im just pissed

I feel ya.. I hate messed up mags. I can't watch others flip throw my mags, it bothers me how normal people rough 'em up.

I am tired of being able to pick up the mags at my local boardshop before I get the issue at my house. Whats the point of having a subscription when the shops get them first and you usually get it for free from the shop?

If I get a damaged mag, I just call them & get a new one sent out. The mailman will only put the blame on the other people that handle your mail & the sorting machine.

Actually I saw that performance had a whole box of messed up May issues of Wakeboarding Magazine. So maybe it's the printers problem and not the mailman.

I like the way you mention how "normal people" rough up your mag! Those people just don't appreciate and respect our greatly-coveted wakeboarding magazines the way we fellow riders do.

yea, never tipped the mailman before. i guess i just expect him to do his job. it is a damn good issue. the articles look good, haven't read them yet. is it me, or are the pics getting better and better?

I gave my mailman and lawn guy a box of $3.00 chocolates at Christmas. Goes a long way in my book.

Best issue IMO in a while, mainly because it only had 99 pages of ads instead of 100. No, but seriously, I especially liked the 31 things to do before you stop boarding. Maybe the mag is heading in the right direction???

And mine came in one shiny, wrinkle-free piece!

I got a subscription a couple months ago. My first issue came in very bad condition. Since then they've been perfect. I'll bet if you contact WBM, they'll send a replacement, they offered to for me when I told them the situation.

I guess my perspective is a bit different in regards to ads. IMO Ads keep photographers like myself and the mag in business. I open the Mag every month to see what other photographers have captured. Now there are good and bad ads, but I enjoy seeing a great shot just like all the other photographers or aspiring photographers out there.
