i do not have the complete story yet but just wanted to send prayers and thoughts to the Irons family and all the hawian surf community. RIP Andy Irons you will be missed.

what i did here was he caught dungy fever before leaving puerto rico. sounds like he got off the plain in texas and was to sick to travel and wound up passing away in hotel room in texas.

Such a shame.

This is a serious reminder to see a doc when you are seriously sick. Most people never think it could be their life at stake until it's too late.

Especially when traveling to the tropics. I never heard of anyone dying Dengue fever.

RIP - huge loss!!!

Dengue fever is FATAL if not taken care of immediately.
