Ok, most of ya'll know that I am searching for a cheap Wakeboarding Boat. All i've heard the last week is Ski Nautique 2001 has the best wake, get a ski nautique 2001, can't go wrong with a ski nautique 2001!! Yada Yada Yada. We'll since it's such a great boat i've been looking, and I stumbled across another one.

6200 for a 1988 sounds like a great deal, fixing to call the guy and see what kind of upholstery work is needed. But one proble is it's a 5 hour drive. Is it worth it?

What should I offer the guy for the boat, it says negotiable, so he will take less, I wonder how much less?

Is there anyway you can see when this boat was listed on the site? I don't see a list date anywhere.

It would depend on how much "work" the upholstry needs. Call a shop and find out what you are looking at as far as cost to do all the seats, then offer the difference.

Well, for the upholstery I am actually in luck. I have an Aunt that would do it for me, as long as I just buy the material. Any idea how much material cost nowadays?

And I emailed him and asked for some pictures of the interior. I hope the reason it's messed up is because kids were junping in it, not because he left it outside in the weather. "EEK"

Uhoh, just noticed that picture was taken in 2003, maybe his camera is just set wrong.

Supra Sunsports are a great boat also. Much BIGGER and can throw a mackin' wake. The 2001 wake can easily become a wall, unless the bow has plenty of weight. I've ridden both and much prefer the Supra all around. My friend has a 2001 so I have ridden one plenty. Never hurts to have more options when searching.

The interior is straight up old, so it needing replacement is no surprise.

This is probably the cleanest, nicest SN2001's you will find. I've seen it in person, it is immaculate and was very well cared for.

scroll down a little ways on this page:

Not a clue...Marine World is a MC dealer here in Wichita so he must have traded up for one. All I know is he took that boat out to a private lake around here and I would see him out there. He was always cleaning it, wiping it down, you can tell it was well maintained.

Yeah, it has been on their web-site for a while now.

FYI: They will let you water test their boats, which is nice.

Yea, you can especially tell by the seat. They look not a day old, wonder when and who put those in for him. I definitely know theres deals out there, I just gotta find them before everybody else. LoL.

Even if this boat needs some work, if I put 1500 or so into making it look good, add a 1500 tower, then i've got me a really nice 1988 Ski Nautique 2001 for under 10k. Sounds pretty good to me.
