I took the boat out for the first time this weekend and now the overnite temps is supposed to get around 30 degrees. Is this going to be cold enough to cause problems with the block? SHould I take any precautions over the next 2 nites or not worry about it?

nope it would have to be below freezing for a couple days

Your fine Eric....It takes many days well below freezing to do any damage.
