Poker for raffle tickets Friday at Spring Ride

Hi All,

Would any of you be down for a poker game Friday night in the bar for some raffle tickets? Money would go to a great cause (CIE) and winner gets lots of raffle tickets. I'm thinking $10-20 buy in. I have enough chips for 8-10 people.

I have red, white, blue, and black clay chips. Sounds like we might be able to get a few tables going. I say a bunch of us bring chips and we can figure it out Friday night. Any thoughts on a start time. We are going up early Friday so it makes no difference to us. How bout 7 or 8pm?

tim, i'll be up there in the afternoon on Friday. Always down for a little poker game, especially for a good cause! I got 500 chips and a talbe. I'll bring it up on Friday and hopefully run into you at the bar/hotel.

I'm thinking we start around 7 or 8. Renee, of course women are allowed to donate their money......I mean play. My wife will be playing for sure. Sounds like we'll have enough chips for 300-500 people to play......lol.

By the way, will there be tables set up for beginners, intermediate and advanced players? I would hate to be at a table with someone who is gonna get pissed off at me for playing the wrong card and ruining it for everyone else.

Yeah, CIE definitely pounded out the rules for drunk UNO at our rained out Bullards Bar houseboat trip last year. Incidently we still had a blast during a torential downpour. Hopefully this wont be a repeat of that weather.

As for collecting money for raffle tickets.... Tim, you want me to handle that? I guess the guys from CIE are kinda out of that game. Not really going to need any raffle tickets, although I had my hands on the Proline LG and Dyneema line that we're giving away and I was thinking maybe I'd pick up a few of the tickets myself. LOL....
