After a few hiccups in delivery, we finally got the new MB boat in today. Cant wait to hit the water

Craig and Michael at Txmc did a great job helping pick out the color combo. I will get some better pics up after I clean her and can get some with a good camera. These are iPhone taken lol

Heard great things about Texas Mastercraft and spoke to them on the phone about an MB 23 TWB earlier this year. Just wasnt' ready to get rid of my 2011 Axis A22 yet.

Thanks Bill. I have the 23 TWB on my short list for my next boat and Texas Mastercraft is about 2 - 2.5hrs from me.

I'm in Copperas Cove, TX which is due south down I-35 and just a little west of Temple, TX about 25 miles. My home lake is Belton Lake.

Texas MC has to be killing their MC sales with all their MB sales. They may have to change their name. Sick boat

I wouldn't think MB would be hurting their MC sales. Kinda like Axis and Malibu and then Moomba and Supra. Even though Axis and Malibu and then Moomba and Supra are sister companies...people still have a good idea what they want when they walk in.

I know 4 MC owners personally who have swapped to MB due to all the debochery going on with them.

swat guy..i went into this looking at a MC x25. demod that and the MB 23 in the same day. i couldnt justify paying another 35k for the x25. the MB isnt as "upper class" as the x25, but it is a badass boat. add in a bunch of billet touches and the touch screen stuff instead of manual gauges and thats the only thing its missing compared to the MC.

ready to get it out in the water now

Very Nice! Welcome to the club my friend. Enjoy those sic wakes! You can get a MC for 95K or an MB for 60K. Take your pick.

AJ its gotta be hurting their cheaper MC sales like someone going in to look at an X2 because thats the only MC they can afford is going to take a serious look at MB. Bigger boat more space etc. It has to be affecting MC sales. Not to mention they are smart. You sell someone a boat and do a good job you have a service customer for life which is your razor blades. Thats what is killing MC dealers. They need to sell boats so they can change oil on them etc.

Bill,

Your boat is bad ass! Your truck is also badass! Those BMF Novakanes are the best looking rim on the market today. Are those 20x10"? You running a 4" or 6" lift?

I plan to get some 20x9" stealth Novakanes for my white FX4 in the spring

Jason..that's my wife's truck but thanks!

It has a 6" lift on it and the wheels are 22" with 35's

It looks great, but isn't the best for towing this heavy boat with the lift. Although I did just get a programmer so I haven't had the chance to pull it yet with the tow setting.

Bill you will have to let us know how the wake and having the size compares to your X1. I have the 205v x star so would love to hear your description of wake. I would kill for a larger boat the only thing I really dont like about my boat.
Old     (runin90lx)      Join Date: Sep 2009       10-03-2012, 1:46 PM Reply
Ill try and get some pics when I get to take it out. From the demo I can tell you the wake empty was larger in size than the size of the x1 with full factory ballast. The factory mb23 has 2400 lb ballast. It was a very nice and tall wake

Wow sweeeet not a red guy usually but that boat looks great!!! On your X1 you just ran just stock ballast how much was that. Sorry to be soooo nosy just trying to figure out compared to what I have. Thanks man and a great boat.
Old     (runin90lx)      Join Date: Sep 2009       10-04-2012, 11:33 AM Reply
I believe the stock ballast was appx 800-900. 250 hard tank in each locker and the center bag was 300 or 400 lbs
