My buddy, Ryan, had the balls to pull this messed up raley down. Anyone else I know would have bailed.

right on! I believe its called stargazing when the board flows up that high, usually happens because he has too much pressure on his back foot. SIK trick - props!

Isn't a 1-1-6 just a raley, with the board up about another 2 feet? Because thats kinda what it looks like.

You are thinking of a 911. . . a 911 is similar but you turn the board the oppisite way of your momentum. . ( there may be a 116 but i am unsure? )

here ya go - 911
911

Ya, the 116, and the 911 are pretty much the same thing, but they are opposite, one you turn left, and one you turn right. Depending hes turning to the right so I thought mabey it was the 116. It could be a 911 though.

actually it's not so much left or right as which way you do the trick, right? a 911 you look back the direction you came from, a 116 you stargaze or look towards where you're going. so in the pic above of tony-or-juan (what a strange name haha), if he's doing a 911 he left the wake on the right side of the pic, meaning he probably rides goofy - unless he was doing a switch 911 and i don't even know what that would be called...

we took out the video camera (as normal) last weekend and i watched myself do a raley just like the first picture in this discussion, but both of my feet were pointing straight up in the air. i landed it too. i couldnt believe it. the rest of the raleys i did that day were all normal, but this one was as tweaked out as i have ever done it.

thats because i had too much weight on my BACK foot?

so to do a 911, you should put a little more weight on your front foot?

I think a switch 911 is a switch 911! :-)

alright what's up with the 116? Where in the heck did that come from? It is a stargazed raley... it has been the "hey man you are not there yet" trick that people have given you crap for for years. And now someone says lets name it (a clever name I might add) but come on...

This actually brings up a whole new topic... should screw up tricks be named and be worth points... they obviously look different, they require a specific cut, approach, inair motion, etc... But come on do we want to see pros doing stargazed raleys (sorry 116's), frantrums (front roll-tantrum), mexican backrolls, etc...

anyone else have a thought on this???

I think that you guys got a 1-1-6 from shaun's new game. Like it is made up. On the game it just looks like a stalled out S-Bend.

As far as that stargazed raley try to come off the wake with your feet equaly weighted and keep your eyes on the tower and that sould fix it
